Resourcing Tomorrow is firmly grounded in the principles of the Balance for Better Programme, showcasing the vital contributions and achievements of women in mining while highlighting the mining industry’s progress towards greater gender balance, diversity, and inclusion.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion in mining are at the heart of the event. These values are reflected throughout the programme, from technical presentations and industry insights to plenary sessions and the respected Resourcing Tomorrow Outstanding Achievement Awards. More than 100 speakers representing women and historically underrepresented groups across financial, technical, operational, and leadership roles will feature at the event, underlining the industry-wide benefits of a more inclusive approach to mining.

The NextGen Programme returns in 2025 with an expanded lineup and increased participation from leading global universities, strengthening the future talent pipeline and reinforcing Resourcing Tomorrow as the global forum where the world’s mining leaders meet. More than 150 students are expected to join the programme this year, supported by key industry organisations including the Mining Association UK and Women in Mining UK. The conference will feature dedicated student panel sessions and a focused networking event exclusively for students and employers across the mining value chain, helping to connect the next generation with real mining career opportunities.
Participants aligned with our Balance for Better initiatives are already embedded within Resourcing Tomorrow, playing an essential role in shaping the conversation on inclusive growth and the future of mining.
