Abenójar Tungsten (ABT) is building the El Moto tungsten Mine in Ciudad Real, Spain, host to one of the largest and highest grade tungsten deposits globally.
Construction commenced on the underground operation at El Moto in 2026, with first production on track for Q1 2029. Once fully operational, El Moto will produce 423,000mtu of WO₃ per year, representing a significant proportion of Europe's tungsten needs.
Abenójar Tungsten is led by the García San Miguel family, a fourth-generation Spanish mining family that has deep credibility and a strong social licence, having successfully built, operated and rehabilitated mining projects across Spain. El Moto, with EU CRMA Strategic Project designation, is being developed with a clear focus on establishing long-term benefits for all stakeholders.
