E3 Lithium

E3 Lithium is developing one of the first battery-quality lithium projects to market in North America. The Clearwater Project, Canada’s first commercial Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) project, is targeting annual production of 12,000 tonnes of lithium carbonate in Phase 1 with expansion potential to 36,000 tpa. The Clearwater Project will be the country’s first fully integrated lithium brine production facility, supplying battery-grade to North America’s lithium supply chain. World-class resource endowment: E3 Lithium’s holds a in Western Canada including the Bashaw District, which contains a single contiguous deposit of more than 16.2 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) and can support multi-decade operating life and district-scale production potential. The Clearwater Project has a competitive cost profile and is positioned in first third of global cash cost curve. E3 Lithium benefits from Alberta’s long history of resource development, existing infrastructure, geological knowledge, a local skilled workforce and an established, efficient regulatory regime. E3 Lithium has a well-defined path to commercialization. A Pre-Feasibility Study was completed in June 2024 with an after-tax NPV₈ of US$3.7 billion and a 24.6% IRR1, a Demonstration Facility currently in operation validates commercial scalability and there is a transparent and timely permitting framework.
