Business Finland invites international partners to shape the future of minerals and mining! Finland’s core strength is an end-to-end minerals ecosystem: geological research, mineral exploration, mining, processing and metallurgy, circular economy solutions and high value advanced materials. In the European landscape, such a comprehensive value chain supported by strong R&D and piloting environments is uncommon. Up to 80% of the world’s mines use Finnish technology, reflecting our global position in electrified and autonomous mining, water and tailings management, process technology and digitalization. For international investors and partners, Finland combines advanced mining and minerals expertise with a stable operating environment: rule of law, reliable low carbon energy, skilled people, strong infrastructure and a long industrial tradition. Active mines, processing plants and pilot facilities provide real world testbeds for developing and validating solutions before large scale deployment. Business Finland is the Finnish government organization that provides innovation funding and internationalization services. We have around 450 experts working in 12 offices globally and 15 regional offices across Finland. As part of Business Finland, Invest in Finland helps foreign companies identify business opportunities in Finland and provides information about Finland as an investment destination. We work in close cooperation with regional partners and international organizations.
