Martin Ma, holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Henan University. Boasting 11 years of experience in lithium batteries and 15 years in lithium chemical engineering & mining, he is a seasoned lithium industry professional with solid technical and market operation capabilities, now serving as the China Representative Director of the International Lithium Association (ILiA).

At ILiA, he deeply connects with Chinese lithium supply chain enterprises to expand the association’s influence, leads the establishment of cooperation mechanisms with other industrial associations, and actively advances ESG and carbon footprint work in China’s lithium industry, aligning with global green transformation trends.

He has extensive experience in lithium marketing and management. From 2010 to 2024, he held roles such as Sales & Marketing Manager and Sales & Marketing Consultant at Galaxy , Allkem and other enterprises, leading global lithium market supply and demand analysis, formulating lithium salt marketing strategies, developing domestic lithium salt customers and following up key accounts, and expanding strategic customers and investors in cathode materials, lithium batteries and automobile manufacturing.

He also worked at Sony China and HUANYU Power, accumulating full-scenario lithium battery sales management experience and solid quality control capabilities, with an extensive network in the lithium and recycling engineering sectors.
