Christopher Williams is the Chief Executive Officer of Glomar Minerals, a company focused on the exploration and development of critical minerals from polymetallic nodules in the Clarion-Clipperton Zone of the Pacific Ocean. He also serves as Chairman of Glomar Minerals Ltd (UK) and CEO of UK Seabed Resources (UKSR), which holds two UK-sponsored seabed mineral exploration licences.
With extensive experience in the seabed minerals sector, Christopher managed Lockheed Martin's seabed minerals subsidiary from 2015 to 2023, overseeing a comprehensive mineral exploration programme in collaboration with leading academic and research institutions. Prior to this, he held senior government affairs roles at Lockheed Martin and served as a civil servant across several UK Government departments, including the Cabinet Office.
Christopher is a recognized leader in the emerging deep-sea mining industry, working to advance responsible seabed mineral exploration and secure long-term supplies of critical minerals essential for the global energy transition and future technologies.
