With more than 10 years of professional experience in the defence sector, Dr Kristyna Helm offers a unique perspective that bridges government, industry, international organisations and academia. In her roles as Vice President of the Defence and Security Industry Association of the Czech Republic, National Focal Point for the European Defence Fund, Deputy Head of the Czech Delegation to the NATO Industry Advisory Group, and Board Member of the NATO Science and Technology Organization, Kristyna works at the intersection of policymaking, technology, and international collaboration. This hands-on experience, combined with an academic foundation in security studies, enables her to address the most pressing challenges facing the defence ecosystem today.
