Gareth is a Strategic Advisor to the Rare Earth Industry Association (REIA).
He is Managing Director of UK-based Strategic Materials Advisory, a consulting and advisory firm operating in the critical-materials sector. Gareth is also a Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor of Critical Minerals and Materials, at the University of Birmingham.
Gareth is a Chartered Engineer and holds a B.Eng. (Honours) degree in materials science & technology, as well a Ph.D. in metallurgy & materials, both from the University of Birmingham.
