Geraint is a Senior Partner at ERM, specialising in mining & metals due diligence, impact assessment, closure and rehabilitation. He is ERM’s Mining and Metals Sector Lead for EMEA and a Global Mining Account Director.
Geraint has worked for over 30 years at all stages of the mining life cycle, helping mining companies, communities and governments in Europe and Africa to develop innovative and mutually beneficial approaches to mine design, operation, closure and beyond. Prior to joining ERM in 2006, Geraint worked for a UK Government Agency with responsibility for funding and management of multidisciplinary teams on a wide range of projects to address the social, environmental and physical legacy of some 200 years of mining and metals industrial activity.
