Head of Policy

Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS)

Matt is the Head of Policy for Critical Minerals at the UK Government’s Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy and led the development of the UK’s first critical minerals strategy. 

He has previous experience as a civil servant and as a strategy consultant, and has an MSci in Natural Sciences (Materials Science) from the University of Cambridge. He is originally from Somerset in southwest England.
