She has specialised in strategy, measurement, and designing impactful community investment programmes including developing partnerships between NGOs, government and companies in more than 20 countries. Other experience includes campaigning on accelerating business action to meet the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, managing C-suite advisory boards and developing emerging work on corporate purpose, responsible investment, sustainable procurement, and board engagement. Mj also led the creation of Business in the Community’s Responsible Business Map and Tracker, a measurement tool which enables an assessment of a company’s performance as a responsible business. As part of her work with FTSE350 companies across sectors she has worked with miners on a range of ESG projects. Her current role also includes working closely with SLR’s Global Mining team to integrate ESG Advisory Services with other technical offerings that aim to deliver solutions aligned with ESG goals.
