Nabeel Mancheri

Dr. Nabeel Mancheri is Director, Rare Earths at EIT RawMaterials, Europe’s leading innovation network for raw materials and critical mineral value chains. A globally recognized expert on rare earth elements (REEs), critical minerals, and supply chain resilience, he works at the intersection of industry, policy, research, and international cooperation to strengthen sustainable and secure rare earth supply chains for the energy transition and advanced manufacturing sectors.

Before joining EIT RawMaterials, Dr. Mancheri founded and coordinated the Global Rare Earth Industry Association (REIA), serving as its first Secretary General for five years. Under his leadership, REIA became a prominent international platform connecting governments, industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers across the rare earth value chain.

Throughout his career, he has also advised international organizations and policy institutions including the OECD and various government and research bodies on critical minerals, trade policy, and resource strategies. His expertise is particularly valuable as governments and industries seek to secure sustainable supply chains for the materials required for electrification, renewable energy, e-mobility, and advanced technologies.
